KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — ProMotion LLC announced today that Northeast Tennessee metalcore outfit Halo Scars has returned to the ProMotion roster.

Formed in the Kingsport and Johnson City circuits, the five-piece has spent the past several years turning the isolation of the Appalachian foothills into an asset, sharpening a sound that pairs thrash aggression with groove-heavy weight. The band's 2022 debut EP, Remnants of Decay, announced their arrival on the regional underground scene. The 2023 single "Crownless King" pushed the sound darker and more deliberate, a direction the band fully realized on 2024's Ascension.

Halo Scars has also built a reputation as a live act not to be missed, known for turning venue floors into full-scale mosh pits through a combination of technical musicianship and old-school stage energy. With a stable, unified lineup behind them, the band is now looking toward its next chapter — and ProMotion is back in their corner to help build it.
