KNOXVILLE, TN – When Knoxville country artist Matt Allum set out to capture the excitement of racing in his latest music video, he needed more than just a great location and compelling footage. He needed a way to reach television audiences nationwide. That opportunity came through Style City Music Presents, a nonprofit television program that has spent nearly 15 years connecting independent musicians with viewers hungry for something beyond commercial radio fare.
This has put Allum's new music video for his single "As The Tires Burn" in front of audiences across more than 300 television stations, joining thousands of other artists who have found their way onto TV screens through the Tampa Bay-based organization. For many independent musicians, breaking into television distribution remains a significant challenge—one that Style City Music Presents was specifically created to address.
"As The Tires Burn" delivers exactly the kind of authentic storytelling that resonates with the show's viewership. Filmed at Newport Speedway with ProMotion LLC handling production duties, the video drops viewers directly into the world of Tennessee racing culture. Allum performs against a backdrop of actual races, pit crew activity, and the unmistakable energy of the track—a far cry from the polished studio sets typical of mainstream country videos.
The video represents a collaborative effort spanning multiple Tennessee and Nashville music industry partners. Beaird Music Group handled recording duties in Nashville, while Big Lyric manages distribution of Allum's music. Steve Baker coordinates video distribution alongside the Style City Music Presents television premiere.
Production was made possible through support from Newport Speedway's Chuck Ward and business sponsors including 201 Cafe & Wine Bar, Nirvana Barber Studio, Watkins Waste, 008 Concrete LLC, Cotton Eyed Joe, Clyde Sawyers and Son Well Drilling and Pump, X World Studios, Finn's Restaurant & Tavern, and Bug's Boutique.
Style City Music Presents operates under Style City Music, Inc., a registered nonprofit focused on expanding access to arts programming. The show's straightforward format—30 minutes of music videos spanning country, rock, pop, and R&B—has proven sustainable over 1,000-plus episodes, offering artists like Allum a television presence without the gatekeeping typical of commercial music channels.
The video is available now on Allum's YouTube channel and through Style City Music Presents broadcast partners.
